The Story Behind Bumble & Bee

Bumble and Bee began with a mother, a daughter, and a love of creating something beautiful together.

We’re a mother daughter duo from Duluth, Minnesota, and our little candle company is a reflection of the bond we share. For us, making candles isn’t just about wax and fragrance, it’s about the time we spend together, the laughter that fills the room, the ideas we dream up, and the joy of creating something that feels uniquely ours.

My daughter brings a special kind of magic to Bumble and Bee. Her laughter is contagious, her creativity is boundless, and she has a wonderfully unique way of seeing the world. She reminds me to find joy in the little things, to be curious, and to never be afraid to be a little different. That spirit is at the heart of everything we create.

Together, we hand-pour our candles in small batches using natural soy wax and thoughtfully chosen fragrances inspired by nature, the changing seasons, and the simple beauty of everyday life. Each candle is made with care and a little piece of who we are.

We believe the best moments in life are often the simplest ones, a cozy evening at home, a conversation around the kitchen table, a favorite scent filling the room, or laughter shared with someone you love.
